Not just blind, Love's also silly

Caught some of the off-beatest marriages on TV couple of days ago. And I wondered, WHY?

Why were a couple choosing to flail ungracefully in the air while taking their vows? Wasn't the woman, strapped up to her shoulders and towering high, wondering what the audience below her was comtemplating?

And what was another pair thinking when they marched down a mall elevator for an aisle?

And the worst case - for which I couldn't even cook up an excuse in my head - was the marriage on a treadmill: the groom running and huffing and puffing... and sweating in his boxers and a vest, while his bride-to-be walked as daintily as is possible with sneakers in a wedding dress on a treadmill next to his. Adding to the ridiculous fanfare were scores of their friends egging them on - on treadmills themselves.

Is being unique so important that people don't mind even if it's being uniquely idiotic?
